Great Gift Idea...Beautiful, Functional, and Organized
My kids got me this for Christmas and assembled it! Assembly took quite a bit of time—my daughter spent about 2 hours on it Christmas day with help from her partner, then my youngest worked on it for another 4 hours or so. The trick is laying out all the parts first and taking it slow, step by step. The unit feels sturdy, looks beautiful, and has tons of storage space. I'm planning to add some drawer liners for organization and a bit of color on top. Really happy with it! The lighting is. I was nervous about the stool at first, but it works well with the vanity even for someone my height (almost 5'9"). I did end up spray painting an old kitchen chair gold and recovered the cushion myself since I wanted more back support, but that's just my personal preference.

Love it!
Great value for the price. Looks nice and my daughter is really happy with it. Takes a while to assemble but it's well made. The size is for her bedroom.

Looks great but plan for a serious assembly session
Heads up: this thing is a beast to put together. My daughter and I spent 8-10 hours on it, so don't underestimate the time commitment. The box itself is heavy as hell—you'll need two solid people just to move it inside. Fair warning though, we had a delivery mishap with FedEx that wasn't ideal, especially after paying $60 for shipping. A few assembly tips that'll help: First, the drawer glides (Q1 and Q2) come already connected. You'll need to separate them by moving the black rubber lever up or down to release the silver arms—might need to look this up to do it right. Second, the lights arrive connected too, so carefully push the pin to separate them without damaging the cables. Third, the F parts come bundled and later show up as DL and DR in the instructions, which just means Drawer Left and Right. Easy to install but the labeling is confusing. Also grab a Philips screwdriver and an octagonal wrench (not the Allen wrench shown in the photos). A few stickers were missing, so I'd suggest doing a full inventory of all 50+ pieces and hardware upfront anyway. The finished product looks really nice. The mirror does distort a bit—it widens faces and the background slightly—but that's our only gripe. The lights work smoothly and put out plenty of brightness. Honestly I'd probably just stick with the brightest setting for makeup.

Great storage and very sturdy
Good quality piece and arrived fast. It's sturdy with tons of storage space. My husband spent about 5 hours assembling it, mostly because there are so many parts involved. The instructions were clear and pretty easy to follow along with. The lighting has 3 different options, though it's not exactly my style, but it works fine.

Happy with this purchase
Got this for my daughter and she loves it. Assembly was a bit of a pain with all those screws, but once it was together it felt sturdy and everything works—the outlets and lights are all good. Solid quality for what we paid.

Beautiful piece, but requires some assembly time
Putting this together took my daughter and me a solid 8 to 10 hours! The quality seems really good, but just a heads up, the box is heavy—needs two strong people to move it. And be careful with delivery; ours went to the wrong address, which was frustrating since we paid $60 for shipping due to the weight. That part wasn’t Hawkins Woodshop's fault, though—it was FedEx’s issue. A few tips that might save you a lot of time: you’ll need a Philips head screwdriver and an odd-looking octagonal one, which I happened to have but might be less common. The photo shows an Allen wrench, but it didn’t come with it. (1) The Q1 and Q2 parts are already put together. You might need to look up how to separate the drawer glides—if the black rubber lever is up, bend it down to release the arms. They need to be separated for proper assembly. (2) The lights come preconnected too. Make sure to separate them carefully by pressing down on the pin without messing up the cables. Again, a quick internet search can show you how to do it right. (3) There were some parts bundled together and labeled confusingly as F, DL, and DR, which refers to Drawer Left and Right. They’re pretty simple to attach, though. Also, a couple of parts were missing stickers, so it's a good idea to sort everything before starting, especially with over 50 pieces and loads of hardware. The piece itself looks nice, but the mirror does distort things a bit—it makes faces wider and is a little blurry. That’s our only issue so far. The light control is easy to use and bright, which is great for makeup.
