I got this chair specifically for my treadmill standing desk to make sure the weight is evenly spread so it doesn’t harm the tread or its sensors. With an anti-fatigue mat underneath, it works perfectly for that. Putting it together was a breeze since there are only three pieces to snap in place. Just make sure the cushion is positioned right when you assemble it. The chair spins and swivels, but it tends to return to a neutral position when not in use, which is determined by how you set it up. I had to take it apart once to fix that after my first try. This chair is meant for leaning or half-standing, so if you're thinking of using it like a regular bar stool with your feet hanging, it's not going to work out well. It’s better for balance this way, and I found that if I kept my feet on the ground, there were no issues with it sinking too much.
