This bed is fantastic! The bamboo wood looks beautiful, and it's sturdy too. The box was heavy, so I had to unpack it on my porch and carry the pieces inside and up to my room. I took my time putting it together. I did struggle a bit with the bar under the headboard; I couldn't get it to fit with a mallet, so I ended up calling in a handyman for that part. I’m really impressed with this bed frame! I was hoping for decent quality, but it actually exceeded my expectations—no minor issues or scratches at all. The shipping box was pretty large and heavy, so having someone to help carry it made things easier. It did arrive with a slightly battered box, but everything inside was well-protected with styrofoam and all the pieces were in condition. Everything was clearly labeled, and I even got a bag of spare hardware, which is nice. Assembly was a team effort; I think I’d have struggled a bit without help. Once we got into it, putting it together was straightforward, as long as we paid attention to how everything was oriented. Although the instructions suggested using a rubber mallet, we managed fine without one. There are quite a few steps, so it took some time, but nothing too tricky. Once it was all set up, it looked nice and feels sturdy—no wobbling or noise. I'm glad I chose this one and would recommend it!
