Sturdy and Worth the Effort!
I'm a 65-year-old woman with some physical challenges, but I managed to put this together by myself. It was quite heavy, and I ended up bruised from trying to move it into the garage and onto the floor alone. I opened the box and took my time, bringing in a few pieces at a time and taking breaks, which made the whole assembly take about two days, but I got it done! Remember to read the instructions carefully — the illustrations are super helpful, and everything is nicely labeled. The roller tracks for the drawers are marked on the metal, which is great. Just make sure the screws sit flush, or the drawers might stick. Those tiny screws were tricky to hold while trying to get them into the small holes, too. I found it worked better to drive the screws in a little and then pull them out before securing everything. For the bigger screws, I started them by hand and used a cordless drill to finish up. Just take your time or you might crack the wood. I moved the unit into place before adding the drawers and cabinet fronts, lifting it from the bottom to make sure it stayed together. The backer boards can pop out, so be cautious. This piece feels like it will last a long time and has a ton of storage. It's way better than my old one and looks more expensive than it actually is. The lights work, I just didn’t turn them on for the picture. I’m happy I got this piece and was able to complete it myself. If I can do it, so can you!

I’m really happy with how this looks in my living room! It did have quite a few pieces to put together, but the assembly was pretty simple. It offers great storage, feels solid, and matches the picture perfectly.
