Great Upgrade for a Futon
I got the Oh Geni 4” Cooling Twin Size Dual Layer Mattress topper for a family member who was really struggling with back pain from their basic futon. I figured this would be a good fix without needing to buy a whole new bed. The topper consists of a 2” Gel Memory Foam layer and a 2” Pillow Top layer. It was a tad long for the futon, but we managed to fit it in. The measurements are 75”L x 35”W, and luckily her original sheets still fit over it well. She decided to put the memory foam on top since the pillow top was a bit too warm for her liking, but she thinks it’ll be switched back around in the winter. She says it’s comfy and has been sleeping well! It took about 6 hours to fully fluff up after unrolling it, and thankfully there was no strong smell from either layer. Plus, the Pillow Top can be machine washed! Initially, I thought it was a bit pricey, but hearing how much better she feels now—almost pain-free sleeping—makes it worth it.

I got the 2-inch memory foam to add some softness to my beach house mattress. When I first unwrapped it, it looked really squished and I wasn't sure it would fluff up like the pictures showed. I let it sit for a few hours, but it was still kind of misshapen. Then I had the bright idea to put it out on my deck in the hot South Carolina sun. Within an hour, it completely expanded! So, heat helps. It had no odor, and the cover feels nice too. Fit my mattress perfectly. Overall, a deal for what I paid!
