Low profile, looks great with platform beds, some drawer quirks but fixable
Assembly was straightforward if you can follow the pictures. Lots of parts but nothing complicated - just need a hammer and screwdriver. Pre-drilled holes make it pretty easy. I messed up a piece or two but the instructions made it obvious what I did wrong. It's a nice low profile piece that doesn't tower over a platform bed like regular dressers do. The drawers aren't as deep as standard ones, so you need to fold things neatly instead of stuffing them in. They'll hold 3 pairs of folded jeans stacked, which works fine if you're organized about it. One issue - the drawer bottoms can slip out of their grooves if you overload them. Found this out with my sock drawer. I fixed it by taking them out, running a bead of wood glue into the grooves, and letting it dry. That was a month ago and no problems since. My order shipped in separate boxes and the large dresser box arrived damaged with one broken piece - the front bottom rail. Colby got me a replacement within a few days, which I really appreciated. I was able to assemble it fine even without that piece at first. One other thing - steam from a humidifier I had next to it caused some ripples on the nightstand. Moved the humidifier and it's been fine. Overall happy with it. Solid purchase if you don't plan to cram your drawers full.

Great low-profile dresser for my platform bed
I’m really pleased with this dresser. I noticed some issues with the drawer bottoms wanting to fall out, especially when they were overstuffed, so I added a bit of wood glue to secure them better, and that did the trick! It's been a month since that fix, and everything's holding up well. Just a heads up—if you tend to cram drawers full, you might want to reconsider because these aren’t deep. But if you fold your clothes nicely, you’ll be just fine. Assembly was straightforward, but I did put a couple pieces in backward, which was easy to correct by following the instructions. It does come with a lot of parts, but all the holes are pre-drilled, so that made it easier overall. Shipping took a few days since the pieces arrived separately, and while one part was damaged, Hawkins Woodshop quickly sent me a replacement at no cost. I’m happy with their customer service. This dresser’s nice and low-profile, which fits perfectly with my platform bed. A little steam from a humidifier did leave some ripples on the nightstand, but that’s on me for having it too close. All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase!
