This table is really nice and it is sturdy. I am using it for my canning supplies I put a pad on the top to protect the top and cushion the jars when lifted out of the canner. I can pull the table right next to the stove so I don't have to carry the hot jars when lifted out of the canner and I can leave them set there until they have cooled. 5 stars easy to put together and came with it's own little wrench for assembly
