I'm a 70-year-old woman with a bad back, and I needed something to either sit or stand at while doing my makeup. This piece is just what I was looking for. It has four drawers for makeup storage and two levels for tissues and q-tips, which is great. I was a bit taken aback when I saw all the parts in the box, but having assembled lots of furniture before (think Ikea), I was amazed at how clearly everything was labeled and how straightforward the instructions were. It took me about an hour to put it together on my own. A tip: the screws come in individual packets, and the instructions tell you how many to use for each step—only take out what you need so they don’t get mixed up. Using a battery screwdriver made it quicker, too. The motor for raising and lowering is really smooth and quiet. Overall, it fits my needs perfectly!
