Wish I had done it sooner.
This desk replaces a smaller one, and wow, what a difference! It looks and feels fantastic. There's plenty of space and it’s surprisingly well made for the price. Assembly was a breeze—it took me just 5 minutes. The wood top is already attached to the aluminum frame, so no worries about alignment or messing with the particle board. You just need to put in two hex bolts for each leg. The kit includes a basic allen wrench, but using power tools speeds things up a lot. I did run into a little issue with my monitor mount. I had an old dual monitor stand from Monoprice for my two Dell 24" screens, but the clamping bolts didn't fit over the metal frame. Luckily, the frame height from the wood is 1.5 inches, which is the same as a 2x4, so I just added a scrap piece I had, and it worked perfectly. Check out the picture I attached. There is a slight wobble because there’s no cross support between the legs and the tabletop, but it only becomes noticeable during heavy use; regular typing and mouse work are smooth. One thing to consider, though, is that the edges of the tabletop are pretty sharp. After some time, they irritated my wrists and arms. I ran a file along the edges to round them out just a bit. It doesn’t take much—only 2-3 passes, depending on your file. If you don’t have a metal file, a nail file will do the trick—it’ll just take a bit longer.

Very sturdy and great price
I picked this desk to replace a cheap Ikea one that couldn't hold my heavy setup. I’ve got a hefty computer and 3 or 4 monitors, and the Ikea desk was bending in the middle. This new desk costs more, but it’s definitely worth it. The top is a solid piece of wood and has a metal frame, which makes it sturdy. It’s much heavier than my old desk, but putting it together wasn't too hard. The frame is pretty thick, and I had no issues clamping my Vivo monitor stands onto it. Just a heads up – my mic stand and racing wheel clamps couldn’t open wide enough for the metal edge, but it worked out fine since I didn't need the mic stand anyway.
