I needed some bookcases to organize my stacks of paperback books. I got two of these shelf units, and they work perfectly. I can put the heavier books on the bottom to keep them steady on the carpet, and the smaller items can go on the other shelves. Assembling them was a breeze. Everything lined up well, and all the parts were included. I didn't have to deal with much of that annoying static cling stuff from the packaging. The finish looks nice too. A couple of tips: it’s way easier if you use an electric screwdriver with hex bits, and you can find those pretty cheap. Once you start putting them together, you'll get the hang of it quickly. Also, since I have them on low carpet, I made sure to keep the heavy books at the bottom. I wouldn't put anything too heavy on top unless it's directly on the floor, and I used the wall anchors that came with it. They look fantastic once you’re done, and I'd buy more or recommend them to a friend!
