Pretty nice piece, took a bit of effort to assemble but that might've been me being tired 🤷♀️ I have a bigger pit bull who's basically lab-sized and she can turn around and stretch out no problem in her half. My blue heeler mix has the slightly bigger side and could practically do flips in there if she wanted to. Honestly impressed with how spacious it is and how good it looks. The latch isn't my favorite style but it works fine for my dogs. Will see how it holds up once they really get going with it.

Got this in bad shape - the box arrived pretty torn up with a huge rip down the side. The hardware fell right out, so I couldn't even start assembly. Not Hawkins Woodshop's fault, just a shipping issue. But Colby was really helpful and got me a replacement hardware kit sent out fast. They made it easy to fix the problem. The crate itself is solid and sturdy. Assembly took a bit since there are tons of parts, but the instructions were clear and straightforward. The rotating end panel is a nice touch for getting to the food and water bowls. Looks good too. One thing though - it's an odd size. I wanted to put a tray inside for accidents, but nothing fits it. That's kind of a bummer otherwise I'd be even happier with it.

I've got a 95 pound German shepherd and needed something big enough for him to stretch out in without feeling boxed in. This kennel does the job well. It's solid, looks nice, and I'm glad it has the double locks top and bottom. My last one only had a lock on top and my dog managed to pry it open with his tongue in like an hour. No problems here with that. Pretty happy with how it turned out overall—the build quality, the look, and the size all work for what I needed.

Great addition to my office space
I've got to say, this is one of the best buys I've made in a long time. Since I have a tiny office and my dog always hangs out with me, I really needed a safe spot for him as he gets older. The 86.2” crate is just right! It even doubles as a desk when I'm working, especially with a drafting chair since it's pretty tall. The assembly instructions were clear, so I had no issues putting it together. It's a sturdy and beautifully built piece of furniture. Set aside about 3 hours to put it together, and be patient because everything fits snugly—just take your time and don't force anything. Having someone to help would make it easier, but I managed on my own. I'm a 5'6” woman, and I found it easy to move the crate around. My 106lb Czech Shepherd fits comfortably; he can stand up and turn around without any issue. He couldn't wait to hop in once I finished building it! This crate gives me peace of mind when I need to leave him alone, and the locks are solid so I know he’s safe. Plus, it has a divider if you have two dogs, which is handy.
