Putting this desk together took us quite a while—over six hours! My wife would say it’s easier for one person, but I’d say having two people helps a lot. I’m not old or anything, but it was still a big job. That said, the desk is really heavy-duty and looks professional. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to others, especially if you have some space to work in. If your area’s tight, it might get tricky, but it's manageable. I checked out office desks in Sacramento, and they were way more expensive, with none being as good as this one. However, I have to mention an unfortunate update. I was moving the desk when the left side just wouldn’t budge, and everything on it crashed to the ground. I’ve only had it for a few months, and it’s disappointing that it didn’t hold up. I enjoyed the desk while it lasted, but now I've got a mess to deal with and can’t recommend it.

great desk
It did take quite a while to put together, but it works perfectly and is exactly what we needed!

I'm really impressed with this desk! It's solid and well-built, and the motor runs quietly while lifting it up and down. The range of height is. I love all the little extras too, like the adjustable cup holder, hook for hanging stuff, cable organizer, power adapter tray, and the document pouch. I'd buy this again. It's hard to believe it's priced so reasonably because it feels like a much higher-end product.

Great desk overall
I'm really happy with this desk! I went with the 63" version that has a top shelf and drawers in black, and it's solid and well made. The height adjustment motor works smoothly, and putting it together was pretty simple with clear instructions. The only minor issue was a few screws that would have been easier to handle if they were Phillips head instead of needing an Allen wrench, but I managed to get it all set up by myself in about an hour. The desk feels sturdy, and everything lined up nicely, so I don’t worry about it tipping over. The motor raises and lowers quickly without anything sliding off, which is great. The only downside is the power cord is a bit short; I wish it were longer since it’s only about 4 feet. I've had to use a power strip to reach the outlet, but luckily mine has surge protection and battery backup. It would also be nice to have more than one grommet hole, but the cable management box underneath works well enough.

This desk is pretty spacious, so make sure you set it up in a room where you have enough space to move it around. It took some time to assemble, but it wasn’t too tricky. I was able to do most of it alone, but you might need a hand for flipping it over. It’s nice and quiet when you adjust the height. It took me a few tries to get the raising mechanism down, but I figured it out. The desk feels sturdy and works great. I also contacted Colby for some support, and he was really helpful.

Better than I expected - solid build!
I absolutely love this desk! It's sturdy, even at its maximum height. My only note is that I ordered a single mount for my dual monitors based on a suggestion, but it didn’t quite fit this desk because of the solid back wall and the upper deck's depth if I mounted it at the front. I ended up drilling a hole for the mount, but the solid wood construction handles the weight perfectly. The soft-sided drawers are surprisingly durable, which I didn’t expect at all. I even bought a side table that matches! The desk has great edges to prevent anything from rolling off, and even with some variations in floor padding, it has held up well. A tip: know where you want your monitors before setting up, as my original corner idea didn’t work out. Drilling that hole for the monitor stand in the upper shelf made it work, and I've had no issues with stability whatsoever. The brown wood finish is gorgeous too! This feels like a premium item without the hefty price tag, and setup was a breeze. I'm happy with my choice!

I got this desk at a great price, and it showed up just a few days after I ordered it. The packaging was impressive—everything was neatly packed and clearly labeled. I really liked how each piece was snugly fitted with thick white padding that felt sturdier than regular styrofoam. They even used hard cardboard spacers in the corners to keep the wood safe, which was a nice touch. Big shoutout to the delivery guy for handling the heavy box so well! Putting it together was a breeze thanks to the clear instructions. They included some good tips for if things didn’t line up. Though it's suggested to have a second person to help, I managed to do it solo—just be careful flipping the table since it's a bit heavy. The hardware is solid too. The metal plates for the tabletop and the braces to attach the hutch are a step up from plastic. The flat metal plates at the desk ends weren’t necessary, but they finish off the look nicely. As for functionality, the desk raises and lowers at a nice pace. There’s no child lock like my old desk had, but I don’t think it needs one. The drawers have hard cardboard sides covered with sturdy cloth, and the handles are metal. Overall, the desk feels solid and is a good size; it doesn’t feel overly heavy if I need to move it. I’m happy with this purchase, especially the quality of the materials and how it looks.

Solid desk with a quiet motor
This desk is sturdy and took me around 3 hours to put together, but it works great. The motor is quiet and has plenty of strength. Perfect fit for my medium-sized office.

Great Desk, Just Takes Time to Assemble
Just a heads up, this is a heavy package, so I had to use a hand truck to get it inside. Assembly took longer than expected since there are many pieces, but the instructions were clear. The pilot holes for the screws and the sharp screws made the tougher parts easier to manage. You'll want to pay attention to the orientation of the pieces though; the hex screws can strip easily. The desk raises and lowers quietly, which is great, and it comfortably supports four monitors and a large flatscreen TV. It's well-built overall, but the wood quality is average—it’s better than the usual pressboard, but still can be prone to cracking. For the price, I think real wood would have been a more durable choice. For those curious, the optional shelving around the edges is solid, with metal and wood braces for extra stability. Even at about 250 lbs., I can use the weaker areas of the desk to stand without worry. It’s actually comfortable to sit after a while! Assembling it took me longer, but I was in a small space and recovering from bronchitis, so with help, it could be done in about an hour to an hour and a half. I'd recommend having someone assist for a bit as you'll need to balance parts and screw them in simultaneously. I did it solo which was a bit tricky. All in all, I’m happy with this desk. It’s thoughtfully designed, and the quality of the pressboard is better than usual for DIY furniture. I recommend this desk if you want something that lasts and comes with nice extras like the cloth drawers and leather magazine sling!

Be patient with assembly
This desk has a lot of pieces to put together, and honestly, the Allen wrench they include isn't great for some spots. There was a bit of damage on the top when it arrived too. My husband took two days to build it, mainly because he started late the first day. You should be able to get it done in just a few hours, maybe more depending on your pace. It has plenty of space, but I ran into some issues with cords since there’s only one hole for them to go through and a few were a bit short. My husband ended up mounting a power strip under the desk, which helped with the cords when it moves up and down. The height adjustment works perfectly, and I really like the four memory settings you can set. As long as it keeps working well, I'm going to be happy with this purchase.

Impressed with the quality and build.
I absolutely LOVE this desk. It's sturdy, even at its tallest setting. I had ordered a single mount Dual Monitor Stand that I thought would work, but it turned out that it didn’t fit quite right due to the solid back wall and the upper desk’s lower depth. So, I had to drill a hole in the upper desktop to get it mounted. But this top is made of solid wood, so it can handle the weight like a champ—sturdy! I was a bit unsure about the soft-sided drawers, but I’ve got to say they’re holding up well and I actually like them a lot. I even got a side table to match. The edges on the upper desk are a great feature, too. Just a heads up: make sure you know where you want your monitors, as I had to rethink my setup a little. I mounted my stand in the upper shelf and it’s rock solid. The wood finish looks nice, too (I went with the brown option). For the price, this feels like a premium product. Set up was a breeze, and I’m confident it’ll last a long time. I checked out some pricier options that looked similar, and I’m glad I picked this one.
