Great chair, wood needs care.
I really like this chair; it's comfortable and fits nicely under my kitchen island. Adjusting the height is a breeze, and it even reclines a bit, plus it has an adjustable spring tension. I swapped out the wheels for some roller wheels I had, which makes it glide better on my kitchen floor. To protect the wood, I added some clear bumpers where it might hit the island. So far, so good! I did place it against the island gently before the bumpers and it left a mark already, so the wood could be a bit fragile. Also, when I was assembling it, I heard a crack from the base when I tightened the bolts, which made me a little nervous.

This chair was really easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and I had it set up by myself in about 30 minutes, including unpacking everything. I laid out all the parts first to make sure I had everything and to see how they fit together. I followed the steps in the instructions, especially the part about only screwing in halfway for the top and bottom. That made sense once I slid in the seat adjuster. There were no issues with fitting anything. Just a tip, when putting in the wheels, you need to push a bit to get them in. The chair swivels nicely and rolls okay on carpet, not smooth but manageable. It works great on hard floors. It's comfortable and supports my back well. I’ve been working for hours without back pain, which is a big change from my old chair that hurt me a lot. The seat and back are wider than I expected, which is nice. I’m about 5’2”, and it fits me well. I'm happy with my choice. I almost went for a different design, but this one was on sale and looks good. The wood on the back is pretty, and the cushions are fine too. Overall, a good buy! (Update: My daughter-in-law liked it so much she got one for my granddaughter.)
