This bedside bassinet was exactly what we needed! We weren't ready for our baby to transition to a crib, and the basic bassinet we had just wasn't cutting it anymore. I genuinely love this bassinet. It took about a week or so to get my newborn used to sleeping in it after we came home from the hospital. I was so used to holding her all night, like I did for three days in the hospital. But once we figured out a better nursing and sleeping routine (I try to sit up to nurse, burp her, and put her back in the bassinet), I found it works great. Sometimes I'm tempted to let her sleep next to me while I nurse, but I worry about squishing her, so I really try to stick to the routine. When I do that, it's nice because I can still see and touch her just like when she was in my bed, and I can rub her back to help her feel cozy. I recommend this bassinet! You can snap the side back to make it a standalone option for when you want to use a baby monitor in another room. It’s a bit flimsy for moving around, as you have to lift it to reposition, and I know it won’t last long once she starts sitting up, but for now, it’s an solution! The price was pretty good too, and shipping was quick. It was easy to assemble after watching the video a few times, plus standard bassinet sheets fit it perfectly. I even took a picture of her while she was in "her" bed as I was lying in mine, just adoring her little face.

So I was in the us temporarily and needed a bed that was similar to the one my baby has in her home country. This one is soooo much better and half the price. The mattress is actually comfy and I didn’t need to replace it. But still safe and hard for baby. It’s so nice and great quality. Don’t get something with wheels - wheels are pointless lol. Get this. Not to brag but my 3 month old slept 10 hours straight in this lol.
