Surprised how nice and sturdy this turned out to be

Really well put together, and the fit and finish look great. Assembly was straightforward. It's made from MDF board with those cam and dowel fasteners—normally I'm not a fan of those, but they work well here. It's a solid piece for a bedroom, mudroom, or entryway and does what it's supposed to do. Lighter than most particle board stuff you see, and it doesn't look cheap either.
