Great bench for the money
Picked this up as a bench for my piano and it works great with my black piano. The cushion is soft and comfortable to sit on. Put it together without any trouble. At this price point, I didn't find anything else that looked as good. Looks really nice when it's in the room. I did order the beige first but had to swap it out. The cushion had a staple mark on it and seemed like it would stain easily. Go with the black one if you're thinking about it.

The brown base isn't really my thing in person, but I do like that it's made from bamboo since that's better for the environment. It's built solid and sturdy from every angle. One heads up though -- there are screws going in at different angles, so I'd recommend getting them all loosely in place before you tighten any of them down. The cushion has some decent padding to it, so it should be comfortable to sit on for longer stretches. The instructions were straightforward and the screws went in without any issues. Overall, pretty happy with how it turned out.

sturdy bench
I just finished putting two of these together. The fasteners were a challenge to screw in. I tried drilling the side holes, but it felt like it was metal. I had to use a magnifying lens to see the angles, which were hard to make out. The little cams and screws were tricky to handle, and with my arthritis, it definitely made my hands hurt. But they feel sturdy so far, and I'm hoping those first four screws will hold up.
