This is so much nicer than an ordinary kennel. It’s made from press wood, so I added some protective layers to the floor before putting in the bedding. The instructions were straightforward, and it was easy to assemble. I have a feeling it will last well. The size is just right!

Perfect dual-purpose kennel!
I'm really happy with this kennel. It's solid but not too heavy, so I can move it around easily. The doors are a bit stiff, but I bet they'll loosen up over time. Cleaning it is a breeze; just a quick wipe and it's good to go. It looks nice and serves as a great end table too. We’re crate training our older dog after a procedure that requires him to be crated. We swapped out my bedside stand for this crate, and it's perfect! The size is great for both him and for keeping my things close by at night! (Haha) He’s adjusting well to it, and it looks nice too. Easy to put together! A soft cloth made cleaning it up a breeze. Good quality for what you pay! The included pad is a bit thin, so if you want something cozier, you might want to buy an extra one. But since he's recovering from surgery, having a less plush pad actually works out for us right now. I’ll probably switch it out for something more comfortable once he’s all healed. I think it's best for dogs that are already potty trained since it doesn't have a removable bottom. If your dog tends to have accidents, this crate probably isn't the best choice for that.

It was pretty simple to put together—my husband usually skips the directions, and he did it in no time. It looks great, much better than a metal crate.
