Really nice quality on this thing. Just a heads up though—the latches are pretty loose, so make sure you're securing both the top and bottom. Our dog managed to wiggle her way out by messing with one of them.

Love this setup. I've got three Yorkies and they fit just right. Assembly was straightforward and I really liked having doors on the front, plus the sliding top was handy when the pups were born. Works as regular furniture too when you're not using it for the dogs. It's solid and sturdy, though the doors could use an extra locking mechanism.

Awesome crate, just a tip for puppy parents!
I just want to say this crate is great! But like some others have mentioned, we had a little trouble with our puppy escaping through the side door. I found a fix and wanted to share it for fellow pet owners dealing with the same issue. I realized that those spring latches on the side door have screws that hold them to the metal. If those screws get loose, the door won’t close properly, making it way too easy for pets to get out. Just tighten them up, and they should work fine again. If you over-tighten, it will make the door hard to open when you press on the springs—something we intentionally did for our puppy. Hope this helps someone! Aside from that, the crate is solid, simple to put together, and has held up really well during our puppy’s adjustment period.

Great look for a stylish dog crate!
This wooden dog crate is really stylish and fits in nicely with my home decor, looking more like a piece of furniture than a cage. I actually use it as a side table next to my sofa since the solid wood top matches the height of my end table perfectly. The top is sturdy enough to hold my crystal lamp without any issues. It was easy to put together—took me about 20 minutes solo. All the screw holes lined up well, and it came with a hex key for assembly, which was nice. I have two 14-pound dogs, and they fit comfortably inside; I believe it would easily accommodate a short legged dog up to 40 pounds. The crate's metal parts are hollow but seem tough enough against chewing. Just a heads up, the wood parts might not stand up to stronger chewers since it's a heavy crate and not easy to move around. This is more of a fancy crate for a well-trained dog rather than a puppy who might cause some damage. The two stainless bowls included feel a bit thin but can hold about 3 cups of kibble with no problem. I do wish it had a removable tray, which would be a standard feature for any basic crate. My dogs love hanging out in their new crate with the door open while I watch TV.
