I wanted to share my experience after owning a marble dining table for 13 years before it broke. After a lot of searching, I was looking for a sturdy, extendable table, knowing it would be a significant investment. Even though most reviews looked good, I couldn't find any specifically for the extendable one, so here I am to share my thoughts! If you're unsure like I was, you can relax—this table is really great for the price, especially with a discount. Just a heads up, the assembly takes some time—expect to spend about 3 to 4 hours on it. If you take it step-by-step, you'll end up with a lovely, solid table. There are a lot of parts, so it's best to have two people help out—though one person can manage it, just be ready to get help flipping it over and handling the large pieces. The quality is impressive—the table expands exactly as advertised, and the size and height are. I noticed some reviews mentioned issues with the wood surface bubbling from water exposure, but I didn't experience that. I added a hard plastic cover right from the start, and it worked out perfectly, so I'd suggest getting a plastic cover to use right away. I'm happy with my purchase and hope this helps anyone who's considering it. Just make sure to set aside enough time for assembly, and remember it comes in two boxes—open both at the beginning. So many screws, but so worth it
First off, there's a ton of screws—like 50 or more! But honestly, this table is top-notch. It was easy to put together, and with my fiancé's help, we knocked it out in about 20 minutes. Just a heads up: there was a lot of wrist twisting from all the bolts and screws, so be ready for that if you're assembling it. But if you're in need of a table and love how it looks in the pictures, this one is a great choice! It's sturdy, looks fantastic, and is huge!
