Did the job well
I needed a way to move a heavy 330 lbs item across about 80 feet by myself. A dolly just couldn't handle the size and weight. The price was reasonable, but it’s annoying when you see it drop right after you buy it. The package arrived in a simple box with everything loosely packed. It felt a bit unpolished, especially since there were no instructions or a card from the manufacturer inside. I noticed it didn’t come with any plastic blocks to elevate the lift bar like some reviews mentioned, and I got a pair of flimsy white gloves that weren’t very useful. There was also a foam strip at the bottom of the box, which I think was meant to protect the lift bar from damaging furniture. That idea is nice, but foam doesn’t hold up for that. The sliders and lift bar themselves are solid and worked great on flat floors, although I had to work around some floor transitions. Don’t even think about using this on carpet. They worked perfectly for my move, and the price was justified. The wheels didn’t scuff my floor at all, and thankfully, no damage to my furniture either. I’d recommend this product.

I've used this lifter more in the last few days than anything else I've bought from Hawkins Woodshop! After remodeling our kitchen, we had furniture all over the place, and I really needed to move a heavy dresser to get to the electrical outlet behind it. It did the job perfectly! I even managed to lift a TV console, a coffee bar, and a coffee table with just a bit of help from some felt moving pads. I told my physical therapist about it, and she’s interested in checking it out for her clients. As a 73-year-old woman, this has made moving things a breeze!
