You really get what you pay for, solid desk!
I spent about four hours putting this desk together, and that was with a few distractions along the way. It's pretty straightforward, but I’d suggest using a good toolkit or a screwdriver with interchangeable heads instead of the Allen wrench provided. I had a tough time with a few screws and ended up needing pliers to tighten them fully. Once it's all set up correctly, the desk feels rock solid and steady. As for the LED strip, it's only attached at the sides, so it hangs a bit in the middle. I'd recommend grabbing some double-sided tape or a command strip to fix that. It comes with a remote, and there’s a nice plain white light option if you just want some regular illumination. The drawer is great—it's deep enough for all my essentials, and it’s supported by two metal bars, so it can handle a decent amount without any trouble. The adjustable bar is handy too if you want to hang your headphones or other gear. The lower shelf is surprisingly sturdy and can hold quite a bit without bending, just don’t try to stand on it! You could easily fit a hard drive there without any issues. And there’s even a little nook for random items—definitely needs cleaning every couple of months! It’s comfy to sit at while I think about life. By the way, it’s black, and it looks nice. I recommend wiping the wood down with a cleaner before putting it all together. Overall, it's a desk for working from home, studying, or even some light gaming!
