This kitchen island is quite lovely, but getting it together definitely requires some patience and a bit of tool skills. A magnetic screwdriver is essential, and we had to use a drill to make some of the predrilled holes usable. My husband spent about 10 hours on it, and I think it was worth the time. The backboard and drawer bottoms feel a bit cheap, and the drop-table hinges could be better designed—they might damage the cabinet's back if you're not careful. Still, in the end, it’s a great piece of furniture with lots of useful space and a nice look. Just be prepared for a bit of a challenge, and you'll feel like a champ once you finish!
