Exactly what my small kitchen needed
For years, I had my big convection toaster oven stacked on top of my old microwave without issues. But when my microwave broke and I switched to a smaller one, I had to switch things up and put the microwave on top of the toaster oven. The downside is that the toaster oven gives off a lot of heat, which isn't great for anything plastic above it. I was surprised when Hawkins Woodshop's suggestions popped up after I'd talked about it, and it led me to this stand. I made sure to measure everything first, and this fit perfectly. I've got the toaster oven on the bottom and made sure there's enough space for air to flow to avoid overheating the microwave. It's positioned right above the toaster oven. On the top shelf, I have my cereal bins and a soda can dispenser, and it all fits nicely. The stand feels sturdy, even with the toaster oven being on the largest setting. I think it could hold heavier appliances with no issues, even though my microwave is lightweight. My only complaint is that the microwave slides on the smooth shelf whenever I open or close the door, but a bit of rubber shelf liner fixed that easily. If only the shelves had a textured finish, that would have made it even better. The sides have metal panels with hooks for towels and utensils, which I haven’t used, but it's handy to have. The smaller hooks are a bit flimsy; I broke one off by accident when I brushed against it. Overall, I’m really happy with this stand.

Great space saver, really like it!
I'm giving this a good rating because it really helps me maximize my countertop space. It looks nice and tidy, but there are a couple of small issues. The first thing I noticed is that the microwave shifts around on the shelf when you push the buttons or close the door since the surface is pretty smooth. I just added an anti-slip mat on top of the shelf to fix that. The second issue is that it’s quite light, so sometimes the whole unit moves when I pull the lever to open the microwave door. But again, an easy fix—I just put anti-slip pads under each foot. Assembly was a breeze, and I love that it's customizable. Plus, it comes with little trinkets to help save even more space on the sides! It feels wobbly at first, but it's strong and solid.

I was a bit creeped out when Hawkins Woodshop started showing me options based on stuff I’d talked about, but in this case, it actually helped me find the perfect stand. I measured everything carefully to make sure it would fit, and this one was just right. I have the toaster oven on the bottom and the microwave on the middle shelf, which I raised enough to let air circulate and keep it cool. The top shelf holds my cereal bins and a soda can dispenser nicely. The stand is sturdy, even stretched out to fit my big toaster oven. It doesn't feel flimsy at all. My microwave is pretty light, but I think even heavier appliances would be fine on the shelves. My only issue is that the microwave slides around a bit on the smooth shelf, especially when I open or close the door. I just added some rubber shelf liner to fix that, but a textured surface would have been better. The sides have metal panels with hooks for towels and utensils, which I don't need, but they're there if someone else wants them. One of the smaller hooks broke when my jacket caught it, so I’d be careful with those. Overall, I'm happy with this stand.
