Is the odor issue fixed in new batches?
Just got mine last week - zero chemical smell! I literally put my kid’s toys inside the storage the same day. Pro tip: Leave them by an open window for a day if you’re sensitive.
Can lids hold heavy items safely?
YES! My 4-year-old uses the big lid as a step stool to reach the couch. I’ve had 15+ hardcovers stacked on it - not even a creak. The edges have this rubber grip thingy that keeps lid from sliding. Just don’t jump on it like my husband tried!
