The color doesn't match my table perfectly, but honestly I'm not bothered by it. Took me just a few minutes to put together and it's solid and looks good. Even if I stumble across a bench that matches better down the road, I'll probably keep this one anyway.

I honestly thought this shaker bench would be of lower quality, but it really surpassed my expectations. The solid hardwood is impressive, and there are double the machine screws securing the legs. They feel sturdy with no wobble at all. The finish is thick and glossy too. All of this for under 70 bucks! It came mostly put together; all I had to do was screw on the legs and set it up. I'm actually tempted to get the matching dining chairs, but I just don't have space for them, though they look just as solid as the bench.

The walnut turned out to be a lot more orange than what I saw in the picture, which was a bit of a letdown. I'll just sand it and stain it to get it how I want. There was also a small dent on one side of the seat from shipping.

Sturdy and versatile bench!
This bench is made of solid wood! It's sturdy and easy to put together. I was able to hand tighten most of the bolts and then just used the hex wrench to finish it off. I needed a bench for our guest bedroom since there's no chair in there, and this works perfectly. Guests can sit on it to put their shoes on or it can hold a suitcase if needed. It looks nice and matches our bed, fitting in well with the wood floors. I’m really happy I got this; it’s a great size and can comfortably seat two people. I did notice there was a black strap under the bench that wasn't attached on one side—maybe it's just for unpacking. The underside has a couple of deep engraved lines, but you can't see them from the top. Overall, it’s a solid purchase since it can hold up to 300 lbs.
