Solid Chair for Better Posture
Overall, this chair is a good find. Putting it together was a breeze, and the magnetic pillow is really comfortable and stays in place. The seat is firm but it shapes to you over time, which has helped my posture. The lumbar support is adjustable and works well. The backrest can feel stiff at first, so if you’re used to softer chairs, it might take some getting used to. On the downside, I did notice the logo stitching on my backrest was a bit off. After using it for a week, the lumbar support started to make some creaking sounds, which is annoying but doesn’t affect how comfortable the chair is. Plus, the height adjustment knob arrived with some cosmetic damage. I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop about these issues and am waiting to hear back. For the price, I expected a bit better quality on those details. Update: I heard back from Hawkins Woodshop, and they sent me a replacement backrest after checking out my concerns. The new one feels much better; the foam is softer, and the lumbar support actually adjusts properly now. The stitching looks great, too. Just one little hiccup with the threads in a mounting hole being damaged, but I managed to make it work. Overall, it's more comfortable than it was before.

Hawkins Woodshop truly nailed it with this chair design. They really thought through the whole assembly process, which made it a breeze. Instead of balancing the seat on a wobbly base, you just flip the chair upside down and attach the base securely, which is smart. The instructions are user-friendly with clear images, and they’ve packaged the small parts neatly by assembly steps. You can tell they care about quality.
