Great fit for my nursery!
I got this Delta Children's Dresser for my nursery after my baby shower, and it’s been a fantastic addition! Putting it together was a breeze, and the drawers are nice and roomy, holding all the clothes I need. They slide in and out smoothly, which is convenient. Now that my baby is 9 months old, I can honestly say I'm just as happy with this dresser as the day I assembled it. While he's outgrown most of the shower gifts, the dresser now fits all of his new outfits perfectly. One of my favorite features is how easily the drawers come out, making it simple to sort his clothes by size. On one side, I keep his onesies, and on the other, I put his shorts and pants. It’s a real time-saver in the mornings! Plus, the dresser feels sturdy but isn’t too heavy to move around if needed. First-Time Expectant Parents - Happy with Our Choice
My wife and I are expecting a baby next spring, so we’ve been shopping for furniture ahead of time. Like any soon-to-be parents, we want the best for our little one, but we also needed something practical. We were shocked at how expensive furniture was in baby specialty stores, with some sets costing over $1600! Not wanting to shell out that kind of money for something our child will use until her teenage years, my wife checked out Target and found the Delta line. She loved how it looked and felt well-built. We decided on the Delta Bentley S Series 4-in-1 Crib and the Delta Eclipse Changing Table. We mixed and matched from different Delta collections, all in white (finish number 100), so just a heads up—make sure you stick to the same finish number if you’re combining pieces to avoid mismatched colors. A side note—the dresser is listed as the "Delta Canton/Eclipse" on their webpage, but it's called the "Delta Universal 6" here. If you check pictures, they look identical. Now, onto the dresser. It’s HEAVY. UPS weighed it at 138 lbs, so be careful if you’re moving it by yourself. I managed to get it in alone, but had to unbox and take it upstairs piece by piece because it was so heavy. Assembly took about 50 minutes with my wife helping; I’d say it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours solo. The finish is a smooth, glossy white that doesn't seem to scratch easily, and I'm really pleased with its overall look and sturdiness. Honestly, I think it competes well with pricier options out there. Would recommend!

I'm really impressed with this dresser! It's beautiful and feels solid. I love that all the visible parts are real wood, not cheap material, and the finish looks. Everything went together well with clear instructions, making assembly a breeze despite all the pieces. The drawers slide smoothly, and the rich espresso cherry color is stunning. I was pleasantly surprised by the heavy-duty hardware; I've had issues with other flat-pack furniture before, but not this time! I accidentally used the wrong screws at one point, but they didn’t strip at all when I switched them out, which was great. The back panel is attached with screws rather than nails, and the pre-drilled holes make that easier too. Plus, each drawer has a horizontal support that prevents them from bowing when loaded, which I've never seen before. I plan to update my review after some use in the kids' room, but for now, I’m happy with this dresser and recommend it!

Great product, some assembly quirks
This piece offers great value for the price. The packaging does a good job of protecting everything, but I did get a bit puzzled right from the start— the box says to cut the tape but doesn’t indicate how to open it properly. At first, I thought the top was warped, but it straightened out nicely once I added the front and back rails and it seems to be holding well. The instructions are decent; there are a few spots where the drawings shift in orientation without any notice, which can be hard to follow. I also had to reassemble a couple of the drawers since the assembly instructions were a bit unclear. The drawer knobs look nice with their glossy finish and match well. After putting it all together, the finished piece looks great with a smooth, shiny surface. There were a few nicks in the paint, but luckily they’re on the back or bottom, so I didn’t feel the need to reach out to Hawkins Woodshop. The case has a nice weight to it, giving it a substantial feel. Most screws go into embedded threads, so it’s not too tricky to take it apart if needed. The drawers seem acceptable; they have plywood sides and a hardboard bottom, but the fit is just OK, and the glides work fine, although they could be better. Interestingly, the drawers are assembled differently from the right and left sides but use the same parts, which is clever if they only had clearer instructions. One last note, the drawers could’ve done with being about 2 inches deeper. The warranty info is a bit misleading too; it comes with a 90-day warranty, and there's a mention of a $50 extended warranty available in some areas after registering. There was a nice bag of extra hardware included, which was a thoughtful addition.
