We’re pretty satisfied with the mattress we got. It’s firmer than a usual spring mattress but softer than some we tried in stores. We thought about spending way more money elsewhere, but this was a great choice for us. The Zinus frame we got was easy to put together and has been working well. The packaging was lighter than I expected, and it was simple to open and get the mattress into the bedroom. We did accidentally poke a small hole in the plastic while taking it out, but we managed to get everything set up before it expanded too much. We let it expand for about 6-7 hours and then slept on it. After a week, it reached the full 12” thickness! I put some cardboard under it on the frame to keep the foam from slipping through. There was a bit of a smell at first—my wife even thought it smelled like Peanut M&M's, which is kind of funny. But it wasn’t bad, and now we can't smell anything. We chose this mattress because it’s supposed to be softer. We’re glad about that; it’s still firmer than we’re used to but super comfortable after adjusting a bit. We didn’t try the wine glass test, but we can’t feel much movement when one of us gets up. The sides are a bit less supportive, but I sleep close to the edge and haven’t had problems. Overall, happy with what we bought. Saved a ton compared to other brands and shipping was quick and easy!

Great choice for comfort!

Just a quick update after 16 months: We’re still really happy with our two beds. Even though we're on the heavier side, there are no weird dips or anything in them. My back and hips feel so much better thanks to these mattresses. I’ve told all my friends and family about them, and they’ve loved the recommendation. You get a good bed for not much money, and sleeping is important to us. I wish we’d found these sooner! We co-sleep with our kids, and they work great for that. Best mattress I've owned

I waited a month to write this review about my 12-inch full-size mattress. Honestly, it's the best mattress I've ever had. I'm 5'11 and about 165 lbs, and I sleep on my side. WEEK 1 UPDATE: 4 stars!

I got the Zinus 12" Gel Infused mattress in King size about a week ago. I followed the setup instructions and let it sit in my guest room for a few days. It expanded to the full 12" but some corners still feel a bit lumpy. At first, it smelled pretty bad for about three days, and I’m glad I wasn’t in a hurry to use it. So far, it seems sturdy and looks nice with its jacquard cover. I put a mattress protector on it immediately. Last night was our first night sleeping on it, and I found it to be much firmer than expected. I thought it was supposed to be a 6 out of 10, but it feels hard to me.
