Exceeded my expectations
I got this mattress to switch out from an older foam one on my guest bed. The old one was way too firm and had definitely seen better days. This HELFIM mattress strikes a nice balance between support and comfort. I did throw on a memory foam mattress pad for a bit more cushioning, but it's comfy even with just a standard pad. It fit my bed frame perfectly and added a nice boost in height. The slats in the frame have gaps of less than 2.75 inches, so no bunkie board was needed. Just a heads up, be careful when unboxing it—once you slice open the plastic, it pops right out. I didn’t notice any smells either. I think boxed mattresses have improved, and I feel like I got a good deal with this one.

I haven't been this happy with a product in a long time. Once I took it out of the plastic, it expanded right away. Setting it up was a breeze. There was a slight smell at first, but it faded after about half an hour, nothing major. Just looking at it, you can tell it's made with quality materials. I'd say it's medium firm, and my back feels great now after waiting too long to get a new mattress. You definitely won't regret buying this.

The frame has a wood slat support with gaps less than 2.75 inches, so I didn’t need a bunkie board. Just a heads up, be careful when unboxing, because as soon as you open the plastic wrap, the mattress expands quickly. I also didn’t notice any odors, which was nice. Boxed mattresses have really improved, and I think this one is a solid choice.
