Pretty easy to put together. Not as sturdy as I wanted but for the price it's good. The boxes are fabric material. Not super cheap, can holds about 5 xxl jeans well. Because they aren't the best I wouldn't use this for a little kid. Rough handling or yanking will def shorten the lifespan of the boxes
