Finally Found 100% Cotton!
My family has a tough time sleeping when it’s too hot, and anything that has even a hint of plastic keeps us tossing and turning all night. We need our bedding to be 100% cotton, from the mattress pad to the sheets and comforter. It’s so hard to find all cotton mattress pads in stores. Usually, they claim to be 100% cotton, but the fill is synthetic or the backing has some polyester. It's frustrating! 100% cotton is pricier, but nothing compares to how well you sleep on it. It naturally keeps you cooler and comfortable without making you feel freezing. I grabbed a few of these in King and TwinXL sizes. They arrived nicely packaged with a reusable dust cover, and even tied with a bow, which is a nice touch. This mattress pad is made from organic cotton and has a lovely ivory shade since it's unbleached. I washed it easily in my front loader, dried according to the instructions, and it fits perfectly on my 15” king mattress. The elastic keeps it in place without slipping off. The texture is soft with a honeycomb pattern that allows air to circulate, stopping the padding from shifting around. Now everyone sleeps really well! It’s the best quality pad I’ve seen, even compared to more expensive brands. Plus, the TwinXL fits my split California King mattress, which is tough to find in 100% cotton. I just hope they keep making this kind!

I'm really happy with this mattress cover. It's soft and feels well-made, and it holds up nicely in the wash. I appreciate that it’s not waterproof like those crinkly ones that make you sweat. Since I tend to get hot at night, this cover is the coolest option I've tried. We just got a new foam mattress that's soft, and this cover helps firm it up a bit, making it easier to move around. My only issue is that it bunches up sometimes and needs to be washed or retucked to smooth it out. I think this happens because of the foam mattress not having solid edges. I reached out to Colby for help, and they were friendly and recommended washing it, which worked well since it’s made to shrink a bit. After washing, it fit better. I think it would work best on a traditional mattress. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. It was pricier than some other options, but the quality feels top-notch.
