It took me around 30 minutes to assemble, which wasn't bad at all. They even include some brackets for wall mounting if you're looking for extra stability, but I didn’t think that was necessary. Considering you could spend $500 at a fancy furniture store for something similar, this was an deal. Just a heads up, if you're aiming for a more elaborate setup or need to fill a huge wall, you might want to look for something bulkier. But for a small wall and basic shelving, this is!

This is just what I was searching for for my living room. The finish is nice, and it was easy to put together—everything clicked into place quickly. The height and size are perfect, and I appreciate that it has four legs that all touch the ground, making it freestanding. A small drawback are the two brackets that hold the top and bottom sections together; they're on the outside of the bookcase and aren't finished to blend in, which makes them a bit noticeable. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I do think they should've been either placed inside or color matched to look nicer.

Very easy to put together, sturdy, and tall. The only issue is that the upper part doesn't secure as well as I would have hoped to the lower half. There is hardware to secure it the wall which would make it more sturdy, however the hardware doesn't work if you have floor trim because the shelf doesn't sit flush against the wall. You could use the wall hardware to attach the upper and lower parts together more securely. Overall, great shelf.
