They all worked perfectly right out of the box. One thing I noticed, which others mentioned too, is that the lighting isn't super bright. They work better and last longer after sunny days. Just make sure to position the solar panel where it gets enough sunlight during the day. Remember, they’re more for ambiance than for lighting up a pathway, so keep your expectations in line with that. I’ve only had them for a short time and it’s April in New England, so I’ll update if anything goes wrong. On the sunny days we’ve had, they looked lovely strung along the fence. They still lit up on overcast days, just not for as long. They came well-packaged with no damage, and setting them up was easy—I just used some zip ties to arrange them how I wanted. Overall, I’d recommend these as a nice, affordable upgrade for your garden or patio.
