Really happy with this. It's sturdy and came together in about 3 minutes like you see in the video. Planning to grab 3 more for the bedrooms as side tables, plus one for the living room and another for the entryway to sit on when taking off shoes. Love that you can flip the top over to use it as a table surface. Good value for what you get.

Such a pretty storage ottoman
This has to be the nicest storage ottoman I've owned. The dark emerald green is stunning—it's got more blue in it than yellow. The handles give it a little chest vibe which I love. Works great with my antiques and honestly looks good with pretty much any style of decor I've tried it with. It's shorter than most storage ottomans out there, but it's actually comfortable to sit on, unlike some of those cheaper tall square ones. Setup was super quick—just a minute to attach the handles. Colby included clear instructions and even a little tool to help with the handles. I use these for hiding stuff around the house. They're for storing things like dvd cases. This one fits them sideways too. I keep yarn and crochet supplies in mine so I can grab what I need without having it sitting out everywhere. Hawkins Woodshop included a note about being careful when opening so the ottoman doesn't get damaged, which shows they actually care about their product. Mine came double-boxed and arrived without a scratch. No smell either, so I could start using it right away. I'm already looking at their other colors because I'm impressed with how this one turned out.

Some of the inexpensive square ones are too tall for comfortable sitting anyway. It only took a minute to put the handles on and get it set up. The company included instructions that are easy to see and understand, as well as a handy little tool for attaching the handles. These storage ottomans are really good for hiding clutter even if you don’t actually need ottomans. I have them all over my house and they hold those dvd cases with sleeves perfectly. This one would work if cases were sideways with the zipper down. I don’t lift them with items inside because they’re not designed to carry heavy items. I keep some yarn and crochet hooks in one so that everything is handy and right in front of me, but out of the way. So so easy to put together and sturdy too! I bought it as a photography studio prop so I only put in one of the decorative rings so it would still fold nicely and fit into its lid and box. I love a prop that takes up basically no space at all but looks beautiful on camera!! I bought the oak wood color and just ordered the grey so I can have one that goes with cooler colored backdrops. For the price (especially with how strong it is and easy to store), I can't afford not to buy a second one!!
