Sturdy frame with great storage
I was impressed with how well everything was packed. Foam spacers kept the parts secure during shipping, so nothing was damaged. I liked that the pieces were clearly labeled, which made assembly easier. All the hardware came neatly on a bubble card, and they even included some extra bits. I love this bed frame! After I got it put together, I noticed how high it actually was. I have a small 14lb dog and I was concerned about her being able to jump onto the bed. The first couple times she struggled, so I just carry her to the bed now when it's time for bed. The height is perfect fit for me being 5'9. The instructions were clear, but you really had to pay attention in order to put it together correctly. I put it together by myself, but it would have been a lot easier if there was a second person helping. The bed frame is made with very strong metal, so there is no worry about it bending. It's a great value for the money. My mattress does comfortably on the frame. The appearance is nice and sleek lines and the ends and side legs are rounded so no sharp corners! All in all this is a great product! A little high for my pup, but I'll get stairs for her to climb.

Perfectly satisfied with this product. Assembly took about an hour. All parts matched screws aligned and started easily. All screws have a dash of thread locker on that, so that saves you a step. Holds our weight well and sits very level. In response to other's comments:Squeaks - not noticed - may not have tightened the screw tight or tapped the cross pieces in deep enough. Flexes - not noticed - may not have tightened the screws tight enough. Lack of written directions - True, but it has really good step-by-step diagrams. I would prefer that to poorly written directions. Also the packaging and waste was minimalTools provided were adequate for the task and they include spare parts: foot pads and screws. One of the best "assemble at home" products I've purchased.

This Bed Frame is an excellent and sturdy product, with no change in performance in the months since I purchased it. I have been having excellent, supportive sleep, the best I have ever had. I am 400+ pound male, 6' tall with very broad shoulders and a barrel chest. (If I had not gotten my mothers short thigh bones, I would easily have reach 6'4-6'6)I had been considering a mattress replacement... I have a heavy-duty coil spring mattress I have had for nearing on 2 decades. At the time my mattress was around $500 on a steep holiday sale, so easily $1000 then. Nearly 20 years later, with the lack of quality and the lack of affordability, as an adult with a limited income, I am glad a frame replacement gave me a new bed. The mattress Clips are great! While they take a little bit of experimentation to find what works, proper installation make the difference. The fact the mattress will easily slide off this frame, without the clips is a good thing! The fact the mattress could easily slide off without the clips means:1- The bed frame itself is not flexing or deforming, very clear indication of its sturdiness.2- The support Slats are not too narrow, too few or too far apart. Having the mattress deform and sink into the frame will only damage your mattress.3- Greater ease of changing sheets, mattress Covers and removal of the mattress for cleaning and additional access to the underside of the bed. Side note, as context is important. Product affordability comes from efficient construction, proper assembly and intended use. Making a product more material efficient while still being effective at its designed purpose is good business. Like other should, looking at the 1-Star reviews is a must before any purchase. Finding out if its an issue of human/user error or an actual problem with the product is important. Seeing the reviews with videos of individual negligence is depressing.
