Long lasting
I really love these lights! I got them in October 2023 and used each set on separate trees. They've been up ever since, and I snapped a picture on April 25, 2024—so that's six months later! They shine bright, and I'm thrilled they're still working! I just ordered another set for my deck, hoping they hold up just as well. I had a different brand at the same time, and after just two days outside, they got wet and completely stopped working, even though they were marketed as waterproof. Sadly, I missed the return window by one day, and neither Hawkins Woodshop nor the other company offered to help with a refund or replacement. I highly recommend these solar string lights!

These lights are fantastic! I have them on my deck and they hold up well against saltwater, strong winds, and salty spray. I did have to glue the solar panel down so it wouldn't get blown away, but the lights are reliable and come on every night. You can switch them between blinking and solid modes, and after a sunny day, they recharge perfectly to light up the night. For the price, you can't go wrong with these!

I previously bought these lights to replace two other sets that stopped working after about five years, and they seemed good at first. So, I decided to grab another set as a backup for my AirBNB, where everything needs to work flawlessly. I stored them away for later. Unfortunately, the first two sets didn’t last as long as I'd hoped, but I trusted I had the backup. When I finally tried the new set, neither worked at all. I charged them up repeatedly, messed with the settings, and left them to charge some more, but there was still nothing. Way too late to return them now. I paid $50 for one set which gave me only a few hours of light after a long day in the Texas sun, and the other set hasn’t been used at all. Definitely not worth it. At this point, I think wired lights would have cost about the same as these and would have been way cheaper to maintain. I won’t buy this brand again.

Great for my deck
These lights are fantastic! I use them on my deck even with the salty air and strong winds. I had to glue the solar panel down to keep it from blowing away, but the lights shine bright every night.
