Awesome lights despite a few bumps.
I ordered my lights on July 1st, 2020, and they arrived just two days later on July 3rd. However, when I opened the box, I found that both strands were missing, and the state of the box looked like it had been through a war zone—definitely not what I expected. I reached out to Colby to explain what happened, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quick response. Someone called me back within hours to apologize and walked me through the replacement process. They even followed up with an email to check in on my order. I got my new lights by July 6th. The new package had some Post Office tape on it, showing it had been rewrapped, but thankfully everything inside was fine this time. The strands are sturdy and well made, with no broken bulbs. Overall, I'm happy with these lights, and I believe they'll stand up to the elements. I recommend them!

I've had these lights for about 4 years now, and they're still holding up great. They look awesome on my back deck pergola and are fully dimmable with a good dimmer plug. It's also nice that you can dim them with a timer. Plus, they come with a few replacement bulbs, which is handy, although I haven't had to use them yet. I'd buy these again!

Look great and brighter than expected
I just got these lights the other day and I'm really impressed. They came exactly as described—two 48ft strands that are easy to hang and surprisingly bright with the bulbs included. Just a tip: make sure the bulbs are screwed in all the way! The rubber around the sockets is pretty tight, so for the first strand, I had to tighten the bulbs down quite a bit before they would light up. Once I figured that out, everything worked fine. The second strand was much easier since I pushed the bulbs in first before screwing them in. They lit up right away!

I bought three sets of the 48ft string lights (two with the glass Edison bulbs and one with LED). You can definitely see the difference in the pics. The LED ones look nice but are bright and have a stark white light. The glass bulbs give off a warm orange/yellow glow that's much nicer and less harsh. I've done some comparisons, and this brand seems like it can hold up well outdoors. I'd suggest going for the glass bulbs and opting for the 98ft length if you're setting up a larger outdoor space. The 48ft works better for smaller areas like decks or porches. Plus, you can get extra glass or LED bulbs separately if you ever need to replace them. Just a heads up, a few of the glass bulbs might burn out on the first use, but there are spares included in the box.
