I was in search of a structure to support netting over my columnar apple trees since the ones I'd seen were both pricey and didn’t fit my needs. These trees can grow pretty tall, around 10-12 feet, so I needed something adjustable. These poles worked perfectly! I dug a bit into the ground to reach solid soil, made a pilot hole for the central pole, and then “tapped” the other four supports into the ground, which helped position the central pole too. I used PVC pipes for the top support and then added the netting. If I ever need more lighting poles or garden structures, I’d definitely consider buying these again.
