It does say to oil them with ss natural oil, which I have not done. But regardless, they still are great. They are not dishwasher safe. It does recommend to hand wash and to dry immediately after use. These are great for travel, if you’re going on a little picnic or just need to cut something small instead of pulling out a large cutting board, you can simply use this little mini cutting board. You can also use these to serve small amounts of food on. Can also be used to put under a hot pan or pot to protect your countertops or your table. I’m quite pleased with these cutting boards.
