Looks great on the bed
The shams showed up right on schedule and were in perfect shape. They turned out to be a bit darker red than I had anticipated, but they’re nice nonetheless. I tossed them on my pillows right away without any ironing, and they look good as is. I haven't washed them yet, so I can't speak to how well they hold their color, but shams don’t get washed all that often, and when I do, I plan to stick with cold water and a color catcher just in case. Overall, I’m happy with how they look against my white comforter and the colorful quilt at the bottom. The embroidery detail is a lovely bonus! I plan to use these all year, not just during the holidays.
