Sturdy and quality materials for this bed frame. The assembly instructions are figures and drawings only, no written instructions, however hey are easy to follow and all the pieces have lettered stickers on them, take your time and it goes together fairly quick. An 11mm socket and a ratchet helps tremendously with the assembly.

This frame is sturdy, strong and quite. For the price I am impressed. 24inch is pretty tall i had to cut mine down a few inch because it was to tall for my girlfriend. Overall its a great buy and easy to put together.

Tall for me!
My 12" mattress from costco stands too tall with it, I am not sure whether it is supposed to be used with japanese futon mattress only! As you see the pictures, my son with 5'6" height is standing next to the bed then imagine me, 5'3" which have to hop on or use a step! My husband is a handyman and decided to cut some inches off the legs. Btw, during assembly, it looks flimsy but when had done the frame holds up the mattress nicely in place.
