A growing watch collection outgrows a dresser drawer fast, and that is where most of the scratches happen. This case gives twenty four watches a dedicated home, each one resting on its own removable velvet pillow. The pillows do real work. They hold a bracelet or a strap in its natural curve so leather does not crease flat and links do not splay out of shape.
The lid is real glass, and it is large enough to show the whole collection at once. That matters more than it sounds. You can see what you own without opening anything, which means less handling and less dust settling on the dials. A metal hinge holds the lid where you set it instead of letting it fall back on your hands. When you close it, a metal lock secures the case, and two keys come in the box.
Construction is MDF with a polyurethane faux leather wrap in ink black, lined throughout in dove gray velvet. The case measures 16.9 inches wide, 11.6 inches deep, and 3.1 inches high, and it weighs 5.3 pounds. In metric that is 43 by 29.5 by 8 cm at 2.4 kg. It has enough heft to sit still on a dresser or a closet shelf rather than sliding when you lift the lid.
It gives well, and that is how a lot of these move. Anniversaries and graduations especially. Twenty four slots leave room to grow, so it does not turn into the wrong size in two years. It doubles as jewelry storage, and it reads as something you display rather than a box shoved out of sight.
Care is simple. Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and keep the case away from moisture. Inside the package you get the watch box and two keys.
