Good value for a quality nightstand
I was on the hunt for two narrow nightstands since my bedroom is a bit cramped. I initially tried a bunch of options but they all seemed cheap, and local furniture stores weren't much help either. They just laughed at my request for quality stands that fit into a small space. I almost settled for something low-quality but then I found these stands. They showed up pretty quickly, and everything was neatly organized for assembly. It took a little while to put together, but was straightforward. I definitely used wood glue on the dowels for extra stability. I'm happy with them—the drawers glide nicely and the finish is lovely. I chose the cherry color, and it turned out dark just like I wanted.

Clear Instructions
The instructions were pretty straightforward and easy to understand. I did notice that about half of the dowel holes were a bit too large, which made the dowels fit a little loose. Just remember to let the glue sit for a bit before moving on to the next step.

Great tables with a couple of tweaks
I was in need of two new end tables for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted bigger surfaces for table lamps and some other items, plus drawers for hidden storage. These tables have two drawers each, which is a nice surprise. Second, the old tables I had were too wobbly and didn’t fit my decor anymore, so it was time for a change. I wanted the new tables to have tops that extend a bit beyond the frame to support my computer monitor more easily, and these fit the bill. I’d give them 99% 'perfect' since the only improvement would be an extra inch or two on the surface area. Also, while assembly took a bit because of the number of parts, the two built-in outlet plugs and recharging ports make up for it. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase!

Super solid nightstands!
I was impressed straight away when I unboxed everything; you could tell Hawkins Woodshop really cares about their products. All the pieces were well-protected and arrived without a scratch. Putting them together took a bit of time, but it was worth it. Once set up, these nightstands feel sturdy, and you can tell when you move them. We also love the power strip placement underneath. First off, I needed a larger surface for table lamps and some other items typically placed on end tables, plus I wanted drawers for hidden storage. These tables come with two drawers, which is a nice bonus! Secondly, I wanted to replace my old, wobbly tables that just didn’t fit the decor anymore. I also required the table tops to extend 2 inches beyond the frame to support a computer monitor, and these new end tables hit that mark perfectly. I’d give it a 99% 'perfect' rating because I’d love to see an extra inch or two on the top surface area. They work great as is, but a bit more space would be ideal. Another thing I’d tweak is the assembly process—it could use fewer parts to make it less time-consuming. But honestly, the inclusion of two outlet plugs and two charging ports makes up for it. All in all, well done. Happy with my purchase!

Needed 2 new end tables for 2 reasons. First, needed bigger surface area for table lamps & a few items typically found on end tables & with a drawer for out of sight storage. These tables come with 2 drawers, a mush appreciated bonus. Second, we wanted to replace 2 quite old end tables that no longer fit our decor & were getting wobbly with age. And the table top needed to extend 2 inches beyond the supporting frame in order to mount a device supporting a computer monitor. This new end tables serves this need. I rate it 99% 'perfect' because the 1 thing I would change is to add another 1 or 2 inches to the surface area of the top. It will serve well as is, but another 1 or 2 inches would serve even better. Correction: The other thing I would change is some reengineering to render it with fewer parts & less time consuming to assemble. But I must concede that this 'downside' is well, or more, compensated for by 2 built in outlet plugs & 2 built in recharging ports. So, bottom line: Well done. Very pleased.

Nice quality for the price
I needed two narrow night stands because I have a lot going on in my bedroom. At first all the narrow stands were cheap and I gave up on Hawkins Woodshop. I went to two furniture stores and they almost laughed at the idea of a quality night stand that's only 18 inches wide. I decided to return to Hawkins Woodshop and buy something cheap and see if I could add guides or upgrade the product myself somehow. But then these stands popped up. Hurrah! They arrived quickly and the parts were well organized. They took a bit of time but were easy to put together. I definitely used the glue on the dowels. I am very pleased with these. The drawers open smoothly. The finish is nice. I got the cherry and it is very dark, just as I hoped.
