Had a few things I wanted to know before ordering, so here's what I found out:* The Weathered Gray color is a nice mix of warm and cool tones… definitely not that old bleached oak look. Looks great with our French Oak flooring and works with our grey cabinets too.* The crate floor is made of the same material as the top. The plastic-coated parts are on the outside to protect your floors from the crate itself.* The side panels aren't reversible, but you can pick which end gets the door.This thing is way sturdier than I expected. We had a flimsy cloth/mesh crate before and this is solid and doesn't wobble. If your dog has chewed through one of these or broken out, that's on the dog's training, not the crate. I've been around dogs for over 20 years and dealt with both chewers and escape artists. If you've got one of those, get a metal crate instead. This one is great for a well-behaved dog. That said, if you're feeding or watering your dog inside it or your dog has accidents, you might want a crate with a removable pan.Assembly was quick and straightforward, way better than most self-assembly stuff I've put together.

I can't tell you how happy these kennels make me every time I see them. I arranged them to face each other, and they look just gorgeous in my living room. Honestly, I wish I'd found kennels like this years ago! They fit my larger dog perfectly—she's a blue heeler/lab mix weighing around 50 lbs. She's got her small travel crate and a playpen, but this one gives her a cozy spot to sleep at night without any worries about accidents. There's a comfy mat that comes with it, and I'm thinking about adding a disposable pad just in case. She's adapted to it well—I've even thrown in some treats to help her get used to it. Here’s a few pics of Anita’s new bedroom. I feel like this is a great buy. I can decorate her room for each holiday season, her birthday, etc. I brought the larger size crate even though I have a Yorkie. She already has a small carrying/travel crate, a playpen, and a wire fence crate. I brought this one because of the look. This is perfect because it’s not an eye sore. Now, she can sleep in my room, but without me wondering if she’s going to have an accident. Although she is on her menus and I have her diaper on for that, there is a nice comfy mat that comes with the crate… I may just throw a doggie disposable pad down in there for when I take her diaper off to prevent the mat from being stained. She’s sleeping in there just fine. I threw some treats in there to get her to ease into going in there. Great buy and great value for the price. I paid extra to make sure I got the size I wanted. Anita doesn’t chew on furniture, so I don’t think I’m going to have a problem with her being in there like some other reviews shared. Shopping was delayed by 2 or 3 days, however I still gave it 5 stars because the crate itself is beautiful. I hope this review helps.
