This crate is really cute and easy to put together, even by yourself. It was packed well and nothing was broken. The materials seem strong, and it feels sturdy once built. I have a 75-80 lb lab, and the 48” size is just right with a bit of extra space. Just a few tips: use blue painter's tape to keep the doors closed while assembling; it helps a lot. Also, for the first step, lift the floor a bit to line everything up better. It’s easier to add the feet if you tip the crate on its side before finishing. I suggest putting it together in the room where you’ll use it since it might not fit through the door when fully assembled. When adding the locking hardware, don’t tighten the screws until all are in place; it will help them align. The only odd thing is that the floor is held by just four screws and feels a bit loose, which seems off. There are also some screws in the floor not mentioned in the instructions. Overall, this crate is cute and sturdy. I'd recommend it if you're considering it.

Great sturdy crate!
This crate has been perfect for my beagle who likes to escape! It's durable enough that I had to have some help putting it together, but it wasn't too hard. Since we got it, she hasn't gotten out at all, and it even looks good in the living room. I like that it can also work as a side table by the couch. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase!

Great crate with a few assembly tips!
This crate is adorable and pretty easy to put together on your own. It arrived in great condition, well-packaged with no damage. The materials seem durable, and once it was assembled, it felt solid. I have a 75-80 lb lab, and the 48” size will fit him well with some extra room. Just a heads-up for puppy training—they don’t need too much space yet. A few tips for assembly: use blue painter's tape to keep the doors shut while you’re working; they can swing open when trying to get everything aligned. You could attach the locking hardware beforehand if you want, but it might be easier to do that once the crate is fully built. For the first step, connect one wall (the double door) to the crate floor; propping the floor up a bit helps line up everything for screwing it in. You can use the styrofoam from the box to do this, or ask someone for a hand, though you can manage it solo. Before putting the top on, tip the crate on its side to attach the little feet—it makes it lighter to flip around. I suggest assembling it in the room where it'll stay since it may be tricky to maneuver through doorways once it's fully put together. When adding the locking hardware, wait to tighten all the screws at once; it keeps things lined up better. One thing that puzzled me was that the floor is only held by four screws, so it feels a bit loose. There are also four extra screws in the floor that I couldn’t figure out their purpose; nothing mentioned in the directions. Check out the pic for that. All in all, this crate is super cute and sturdy, and I’d recommend it if you’re considering buying one!

This crate is so cute and fairly easy to put together, even by yourself. It was packaged very well and nothing was damaged. The materials are pretty durable and once it was built, it felt sturdy. I have an 75-80# lab and the 48” size will be perfect with a little room to spare. Keep that in mind if you are training a puppy- they don’t need extra space yet. Here’s a few things to keep in mind and some tips and tricks. Use blue painters tape to keep doors from opening during assembly. They will flap back and forth while you’re trying to line everything up. I guess you can put the locking hardware on if you’d like but that feels easier to do once it’s all assembled. The first step in the instructions is to assemble one wall (double door) to the crate floor- you’ll need to prop the floor up about an inch-ish to help align the screw and hole. Or have someone help hold it up- although you can do the whole thing by yourself. I used the two sheets of styrofoam from the box. Before you put the top on, tip the crate on its side and put the little feet on so it’s not too heavy to move around and flip. I definitely recommend assembling the larger crates in the room in which they will end up. They might be tricky to get through the door once put together. When you add the door locking hardware, don’t tighten the screws one by one. Wait until all of them are in then tighten. They will align easier. A couple things that made me scratch my head but weren’t worthy of one less star rating- the floor of the crate is only attached by four screws and is kinda just floating otherwise. It might be a good idea to use something underneath to help prop the floor. There are four screws in the floor itself that I’m not sure what the purpose is. Nothing in the directions indicated their purpose. See pic. Other than that, the crate is super cute and feels sturdy. I definitely recommend this one if you’re on the fence.
