We are so happy with this double dog kennel! It works perfectly in our living room, combining style and functionality. Great Crate for My Pup – So Easy to Assemble!
I got the 42-inch crate for my new puppy, and it has completely impressed me. Right from the start, it felt sturdy and well-made. Assembly was a breeze; I had it set up in about 30 minutes using a drill, and everything came together perfectly with no missing pieces or unclear instructions. Solid kennel, just a few tips...
After I wrote my review, I discovered a couple of extra latches that someone (who shall remain nameless) didn’t think were needed, but they definitely were! That fixed our door issue! I'm happy with it overall and might even get a larger one if our pups grow bigger than we expect. It looks nice and feels well-made, and there's enough room for both of my 45 lb. Dogs who love to cuddle. It was pretty straightforward to put together, everything fit well on the first try. A heads up though—it weighs around 75 pounds once assembled, so having two people is a must (we had three to be safe). While you could assemble it on the floor, it’s a little tricky getting back up, so we did it on the bed which worked out great. Just be aware, once it’s done, it’ll take two adults to lift it down. The included feet make it slide smoothly. I suggest tying the doors shut with some twine or long twist ties before you put it together; otherwise, they’ll keep banging around. Also, make sure you know which door you want to use and how it should open. Now for the downside...the dogs went in without a problem and made themselves comfortable, but at 4:15 AM we were woken up by playful pup kisses and wagging tails! We noticed that the slide locks didn’t keep the doors snug against the kennel, but even though we tugged on them and they didn't open, it seems they’ve learned a thing or two from their treat puzzles! So, it’s a great crate and a nice piece of furniture, but we’ll be upgrading the latch today!

Great kennel, except...
After writing the review below, I found two additional latches that someone whom I won’t name, did not tnink were necessary. They were! Door problem solved!!! Five stars and I may buy the bigger one if the grow bigger than we think they will!!! Looks great, solid construction, big enough for two 45 lb. Dogs (who are very bonded and sleep on top of each other, but still there is room for them both), went together easily and everything lined up first try. However... A few things to know - it weights about 75 pounds assembled, and you definitely need 2 people to do it (we had three). While you could do it sitting on the floor (if you are young enough to get back up off the floor, which we are not!), we cut off the top of the box, laid in on the bed, and assembled it there which also worked well. Took two adults to lift it down when done. Slides well on included feet. Strongly suggest that you use some twine or long twist ties on the doors before assembly or else they will be banging in the head every 2 minutes. And know which door you want to use, and which end and way you want it to open. Now the bad news... While the dogs went in no problems, rearranged the bedding to suit and settle right down, and 4:15 in the morning we were woke by excited puppy kisses and deadly tail beating and they settle down between us on the bed. We realized when we put it together that the slide locks did not hold the doors tightly to the face of the kennel, but we tugged on them and they did not open or release the doors so they appeared secure. It appears though that all those treat puzzles we give them taught them more than we thought! So great crate, nice looking furniture piece, but we will be modifying the latch today!
