Functional and Stylish Dog Kennel
We are really happy with this double dog kennel! It’s both a stylish and practical addition to our living room. The build feels solid, and there's plenty of room for our two dogs to relax comfortably. What we love the most is how it fits right in with our home décor; it looks more like furniture than a kennel. The smooth top is great for displaying some decor and our media devices, and the doors operate without any problems. Our dogs adjusted to it right away, and it keeps everything looking tidy. This has become one of our best buys for its usefulness and style.

Sturdy and Easy to Assemble
I got the 42-inch crate for my puppy and I’m really happy with it. It's solid and good quality right out of the box. I was able to put it together in about 30 minutes using a drill, and everything was there with no issues. It looks nice in our home and doesn’t look like a typical dog crate. It’s roomy enough for Sundae to stand, turn around, and stretch as she grows. This crate is a great choice for training and gives her a safe spot. I’d recommend it!

Solid crate with a couple of tweaks needed
I was really impressed with this kennel! After setting it up, I found a couple of latches that I didn’t realize would be important, but once I added them, the door issue was sorted. It looks nice and feels sturdy, plus it’s spacious enough for my two 45 lb. Pups—they cuddle up together, but they have plenty of room. Assembly was straightforward, and everything fit together perfectly on the first try. Just a heads up, though—it weighs about 75 pounds once put together, so having two or even three people to help is a must. We assembled it by cutting off the top of the box and laying it out on the bed, which made things easier. Be prepared to lift it down when you’re done. It slides nicely on the feet included. I recommend using some twine or twist ties for the doors before you completely finish putting it together; otherwise, they can clang around a lot. Also, make sure you decide in advance how you want the doors positioned because that’s important. Now, the downside: while my dogs jumped in without a problem and made themselves cozy, they woke us up with puppy kisses at 4:15 AM! The slide locks didn’t hold the doors as tightly as I expected, but they haven’t made any escapes so far. It’s a great kennel overall, just needs a little latch modification from me!

Great kennel, except...
After writing the review below, I found two additional latches that someone whom I won’t name, did not tnink were necessary. They were! Door problem solved!!! Five stars and I may buy the bigger one if the grow bigger than we think they will!!! Looks great, solid construction, big enough for two 45 lb. Dogs (who are very bonded and sleep on top of each other, but still there is room for them both), went together easily and everything lined up first try. However... A few things to know - it weights about 75 pounds assembled, and you definitely need 2 people to do it (we had three). While you could do it sitting on the floor (if you are young enough to get back up off the floor, which we are not!), we cut off the top of the box, laid in on the bed, and assembled it there which also worked well. Took two adults to lift it down when done. Slides well on included feet. Strongly suggest that you use some twine or long twist ties on the doors before assembly or else they will be banging in the head every 2 minutes. And know which door you want to use, and which end and way you want it to open. Now the bad news... While the dogs went in no problems, rearranged the bedding to suit and settle right down, and 4:15 in the morning we were woke by excited puppy kisses and deadly tail beating and they settle down between us on the bed. We realized when we put it together that the slide locks did not hold the doors tightly to the face of the kennel, but we tugged on them and they did not open or release the doors so they appeared secure. It appears though that all those treat puzzles we give them taught them more than we thought! So great crate, nice looking furniture piece, but we will be modifying the latch today!

This thing was packaged like a nice handbag with Lego level building instructions. Numbers on the bags and all the tools you need. Do yourself a favor and lineup all the holes before you start screwing. I realized far too late that I had a panel upside down and had to undo a lot of screws to correct it. Seriously impressed with the build and thoughtful design. The white is such a nice design option. This thing is heavy and well built. The floor is lifted to the same level as the bars which means less hair and junk will get stuck in the kennel. The locking mechanism is easy to close and even features an extra set of spring locks on the inside of the door that allows it to open on both sides. I can’t imagine any houdinis making their way out of this thing. I wasn’t planning on using a kennel long term but my cocker spaniel had other plans so I finally broke down and bought a couple nice kennels. So glad I did. Love the look, check out the before and after, so much better! My cocker spaniel fits in the medium sized kennel and my boxer fits in the xl with plenty of room. They sleep in the xl together at night and separately during the day.

The latches work really well and they have little grooves that they go into so you know when they’re fully engaged which has prevented my escape artist shelties from getting out of it. The top is wide enough and long enough to be functional for decorative items or whatever else you’d like to put up there. Overall it’s a quality piece and it’s going to last.
