I got this kennel for my dog so she has room to grow, even though it's a bit big for her right now. The size is perfect for her, especially since she's a small terrier mix. It's water-resistant and scratch-resistant so far. It feels sturdy and well-made overall. The locks are decent, but I could see them being swapped out if needed. Cleaning it is easy, except for the sliding door which might be tricky. It showed up just like in the photos, although I have to say – the color isn’t grey. It’s more of a rustic grey-brown, which matches my room perfectly. When you walk in, it does look like a deep cool brown without any warm tones. Assembly was a breeze; we built it the same day, and it took us no more than three hours. The only hiccup was with the lock hinge on the sliding door. The holes seemed a little too low, so we had to adjust the hinge a bit to get the door to lock properly. Other than that, it’s been a great product. It even came with extra parts and a nice magnetic screwdriver that I'll be keeping! My dog has scratched at it and even had an accident inside, but the kennel is holding up well. We have blankets in there that soaked up the mess, but I can see how a puppy pad might not help if you're training your dog. Overall, I’m happy with this kennel!

I'm really glad I got this kennel. It's a good size for our 40-pound dog, giving her plenty of room to move around. She loves lounging in there with part of her body hanging out! I added a bath mat for extra cushioning, which fits just right. It's easy to clean, though it doesn't get too dirty—just a bit cluttered with her toys. The doors are simple to open and close, and it seems sturdy enough while also looking nice in the house. We usually leave the doors open, so I can’t say how well they would hold her in. I do worry she might chew through the bars since they're not solid steel.

Perfect mix of style and use
I got this for my Shiba Inu more than a year ago since she outgrew her puppy crate quickly. It took her a couple of days to get used to it, but it’s been great ever since! It blends nicely with the other furniture in the room, and the storage on top is perfect for keeping her toys, treats, and gear organized. Putting it together was easy, especially if you’ve done similar furniture before. One feature I love is the front sliding door that has a metal latch and a barrel bolt lock. When she was little, we used both locks to keep her in, but now we just use the metal latch, and she knows how to open it when she wakes up. A solid choice for furniture storage

Good price, relatively sturdy, pug likes it
Relatively easy to put together and relatively sturdy. Very nice for the price. It would be a bit better if the back piece was more solid; it's basically the same kind of thin material that ikea pieces use, and it has a piece of tape that allows it to "bend" for packing, but which also means you need to keep the back of the crate against a wall because it's unsightly. That said, my 16 lb. Pug is just the right size for this, and she happily went into it just moments after I built it. (After, of course, taking a nap on the box it came in. Lol) I bought it mainly for the sliding door, because the pug loves being able to go in and out of her crate, and I found myself having to constantly walk around the open crate gate. It's a good size for an nyc apartment, and light enough to move easily. Latches are great. Except for the flimsy back piece, I'm really happy with this purchase.

It is more like a rustic grey brown. It matches my room perfectly. If you walked in my room you would probably think the room is a deep cool brown, no red or warm tones. Assembly was easy we build it same day. Couldn’t be more than 3 hours depending on how easy it is for you to assemble most things. (Sounds like a lot but times flies when your focused on a “big” project like this) The only issue we had was with the lock hinge on the sliding door. The hinges pre designated holes were the slightest bit too low I think and once we got the sliding door on we noticed the hinge was crooked and a little out of place so we couldn’t actually lock it. We unscrewed the hinge and fit it to the lock and then re screwed them in and it’s great. Overall a great product so far. I’m not the best at measuring but hopefully the pictures give you a good real life estimate of the size. It came with plenty of extra parts and even a really cool magnetic screwdriver that I’ll definitely be keeping forever. My dog has gotten bigger now and has occasionally scratched at the inside and it’s still in good condition. She did pee inside it (we don’t want her doing that but we didn’t realize she had to go and used it to go pee in the middle of the night. We have coyotes so we don’t really let her out to pee by herself.) thankfully? We have lots of blankets in there for her so that soaked it all up. Without any bedding the pee probably would have gotten into the crack for the sliding door and would have been hell to clean, if not stayed there forever. I think even a puppy pad would risk this, just something to consider if you do happen to be training your dog to pee in there. I have been using this nonstop without a coaster and it is holding up amazingly. No rings and there’s no raising of wood that you’ll see on certain woods. Overall good water resistance and scratch resistance.
