I bought this for my daughter's room because she has a very narrow space between her bed and the wall and this slim nightstand fits like it was custom made for the spot. The black finish combined with the rattan detail gives it a really cool modern boho vibe that she likes. It is tall enough to reach easily from her bed but the footprint is small enough that it does not make the room feel cluttered at all. The little storage shelf is perfect for her to tuck away her current book or a tablet at night. The assembly was actually a lot easier than I expected for a piece of furniture ordered online. The instructions were clear and all the holes lined up perfectly so I was able to put it together in about twenty minutes without any frustration. Despite being so narrow it feels surprisingly sturdy and does not wobble on her carpeted floor which was a big relief. The rattan texture on the front looks high quality and adds a nice bit of warmth to the black frame so it doesn't just look like a plain plastic or metal stand. It is definitely a specialized piece for tight corners so make sure you check the measurements because it really is quite slim. For her needs it is exactly right since she only needs enough room on top for a small lamp and a glass of water. It has held up well to daily use so far and the surface is easy to wipe clean if she spills anything. If you are struggling with a tiny bedroom or a cramped living room corner this is a great and stylish solution that looks much more expensive than the price tag suggests.
