Pleasing to the eye
I ordered this to replace a basic black cage crate and took advantage of the deals to upgrade to a furniture style crate. I got the xl size for my 49lb Staffy. I wanted him to have enough room to lay down and turn around. He fits perfectly inside. The floor is slippery, so I took an old runner with a nonskid backing to put inside for him to lay on. Worked well! The overall appearance is pleasing to the eye - I got the grayish version. I’d describe the color to lean more towards the beige end of the gray color wheel. The box is very heavy and bulky. It took about 45 minutes to put it together. It is your quintessential particle board kit - picture instructions only, no written directions Before you start screwing and two pieces together, confirm that you have the correct side by matching the visible holes to the holes represented in the pictogram. Negatives - one of the front doors came with a gouge in the face. Then the screw holes did not line up with the holes on the doors, so they are a little offset. Additionally, the screws holding the door hinges on were loose. I attempted to tighten them, I could not find a screw head that would fit - I have many different types of sacred heads, quadrex, hex, square, star, etc… and none fit. I could have returned the item as I was in the 30 day window; however, I had already assembled the piece. Taking it apart and trying to fit everything back on the box just sounded like tedious work. So, I contacted customer service and explained my situation. They apologized and provided a $15 refund. Was kind of them as they didn’t have to do anything.

Cute, Functional, and easy to put together
We recently bought the 39.4” Wooden Dog Crate Furniture and I’m honestly really impressed with it. It didn’t take my fiancé long at all to put together, which was a huge plus—everything was pretty straightforward and easy to put together. The design is what really sold me though. It looks so much nicer than a traditional wire crate and actually blends in with our home decor. We’re using it as both a dog crate and a side table, and it fits perfectly without looking bulky or out of place. The white and brown finish gives it a clean, modern look that feels more like furniture than a kennel. It also feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some other furniture-style crates can be. Our dog seems comfortable in it, and I love that we don’t have to sacrifice aesthetics for functionality. Overall, definitely recommend if you’re looking for a crate that looks good and does the job!

Solid crate
